I ordered deck parts and somehow they still managed to send a few pieces in the wrong size. This should’ve been a basic, straightforward order, but I had to waste my time calling to get it sorted out because someone on their end didn’t check it properly. Frustrating and really annoying.

I was a little nervous these parts weren’t going to match my existing deck railing, especially since the railing has been there for years and I couldn’t remember exactly what brand it was. I only needed to replace a few pieces after finally getting around to some deck projects over the weekend, and everything I got from DecksDirect fit really well. The brackets and caps lined up with what was already there, so I didn’t have to do any weird adjusting or run back to return anything. Made the whole job a lot easier than I expected. Well... I ordered some railing parts from DecksDirect, and they turned out to be better than I expected. Everything feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy at all. The pieces lined up nicely, and the finish looks clean. They’ve been installed for a few weeks now and still look great. I’d definitely buy from them again.

"Wish I’d Found These Product Details Sooner"
I liked how easy the product pages were to understand on decksdirect.com. The sizes, colors, and which parts fit together were all right there, which made picking stuff for my deck a lot less confusing. I kind of regret not checking the site earlier because it probably would’ve saved me some second-guessing. Checkout was simple enough too...

I ordered the railing parts from DecksDirect, it all went together easier than I expected. I was feeling mentally drained that week, so I was worried it was going to be a hassle, but the instructions were clear enough and I had everything up by the weekend.

The order itself went through fine, but I didn’t realize some of the parts were on backorder until after I had already checked out. It would’ve been nice to know that upfront. Stuff like that makes me a little less confident about ordering again.

"Made planning my deck feel a lot less overwhelming"
I ended up using decksdirect mostly for the planning guides, and they helped more than I expected. I was kind of staring at my deck project like, okay... where do I even start, especially with the railing and lighting stuff because I had no idea what pieces I actually needed. The checklists made it way easier to think through everything without feeling totally lost. I still measured everything twice, because obviously I don’t trust myself that much lol, but it gave me a much better handle on what to order and what not to forget. Definitely a good resource to look through before buying anything

I ordered the sample program so I could compare the colors before committing, and it was useful to have them around to look at in different lighting. Shipping took about a little longer than I expected, and I do think the info could be clearer, but overall it did what I needed.

DecksDirect has a lot of stuff. That’s good. Took me a while to find what I needed though. Some items were hard to compare. Overall, not bad. Just wish browsing was easier

I went to the showroom thinking I could get a few simple questions answered, but it felt like nobody wanted to help. The staff seemed irritated whenever I asked anything basic, and it was never clear who was actually responsible for assisting me. I kept getting passed around like it wasn’t anyone’s job. Ended up leaving without ordering anything

"Way Too Pricey for What It Is"
The prices here felt kind of ridiculous compared to other places I looked. Then once shipping and all the extra little fees got tacked on, it turned into some annoying nickel-and-dime nonsense. The stuff might be perfectly fine, but for the money? Nah, not worth it to me. I’d definitely shop around before buying from here again
